Video Production
Video Production
I’d like to say that video editing and production is one of my strongest skills. From 2017 to early 2022, I spent majority of my spare time recording and editing videos (mostly gaming) and uploaded them to my YouTube channel called Josh0701.
I started the channel in 2017 and have uploaded more than 400 videos. Since then, my channel has grown, and I have gained just under 5,000 subscribers and more than 3,700,000 total channel views.
I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit all my videos and enjoy every video I make.
I’ve slowed down with that channel recently because I no longer spend time playing video games and I’ve moved onto different hobbies, such as managing LOT Club and spending time within the automotive scene.
SOME OF MY WORK
All of the videos shown below were filmed/recorded and edit by myself. Adobe Premiere Pro is the editing software I used to make these videos. Most of these videos below are cinematic based. I have chosen these because I believe they require the most editing to make it stand out and enjoyable for the audience. Some of these are promotional and for different companies and some were made just for fun and have been uploaded to my YouTube channel.
Professional Videos
This is one of the highest viewed videos I produced for the Reformed IT YouTube channel. It’s a quick demonstration showing how hackers can bypass the Multi-Factor Authentication security method. I did simple screen recordings on both desktop and mobile, added them together along side text to demonstrate what is going on.
Here’s a video I made whilst working at Reformed IT. This is one I’m quite proud of as the animations came out great and I feel like the information was delivered very well during the video. I created all parts of the video, as well as animated them and added a colleague’s voiceover as well as background music.
This was a promotional video for a mobile bar hire company. I was commissioned to storyboard and film a promotional business video for their company. After filming on location, I then edited the chosen footage into a one-minute promotional video that appears on the company website.
LOT Club
This video was made for the LOT Club YouTube channel. This was filmed by everyone who attended our Peak District Drive and convoy and edited by me. I spent multiple weeks editing this video, perfecting the sounds and cinematics to show how amazing the day out truly was.
This is another video for the LOT Club YouTube Channel. This one was from a small meet we hosted at the start of 2023. I decided to make a vlog/cinematic video to showcase my day and the cars that were at the meet.
Here’s a fairly simple video on the club channel. We got to experience a friend’s car around a circuit and I decided to make a video of it, using both inside the car and outside footage. I also edited a small track map in the top corner to show where the car was on the circuit so viewers can follow.
Josh0701 (Personal YouTube Channel)
This video was made in August 2018. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, I decided to film the small event with the intent of making it a video for my YouTube channel. just like the Japfest at Donington video, I used different effects and transitions to make a cool looking cinematic video.
I made this video in July 2019. I visited the Japfest event at Donington Race track and filmed some cinematic shots of the event. I later edited the clips and uploaded the video to my YouTube channel.
